Our 91-apartment tower beside Finnoo metro station was completed in summer 2024. The 13-storey building, rising in a developing district, was designed as rental housing for Asuntosäätiö.
The crystalline form and variation in façade materials and colours divide the large building into smaller parts and make it look different from different directions. The random bond of three shades of brick on the light façade brings the surface to life. Beautiful green glazed brick tiles at the entrances and green details on the balconies continue the building’s natural, maritime colour palette.
The character and colours of the interiors continue the themes of the exterior. In the light-filled stairwell, green railings stand out against a natural-toned background. Inside the apartments, views in different directions have been used to inform the layout and placement of large windows.
High-quality shared saunas, club rooms and a remote-work space are located on the top floor, with spectacular views in several directions. The first floor has two commercial spaces beside Finnoo metro station, as well as large bicycle storage facilities with maintenance and washing points.
