- Kuusijärvi smoke saunas, Vantaa - Mer Architects and Talli Architects
- The Lost Shtetl Museum, Šeduva, Lithuania- Lahdelma & Mahlamäki Architects
- SkiB campus, Pori - JKMM Architects
This year the winner is selected by Timo Miettinen, an author and scholar specialising in European philosophy and intellectual history. The pre-selection jury comprised Professor Panu Savolainen (chair), a specialist in architectural history and architectural conservation; architect and professor of practice Anssi Lassila; Professor Sofie Pelsmakers, an architect and sustainable housing expert; and architect Miia-Liina Tommila.**** The secretariat was provided by Paula Huotelin.
Excerpts from the jury's assessment:
"The residential building Helsingin Muurarimestari deserves far more attention than it has received. Few new housing projects combine technical durability and residential quality as successfully."
"The building’s distinctiveness lies in the coherence of its design. All of its solutions come together to form a remarkably unified whole. The result is a restrained yet high-quality residential building, with spaces that have been designed with care, durability, and beauty in mind."
